Waste Management Acquires Reliable Environmental Transport

New acquisition adds full-service waste transportation services

WEST SENECA, N.Y. - February 22, 2012 - Waste Management of West Seneca (WM) today announced the acquisition of Reliable Environmental Transport (RET).

RET provides services to the natural gas exploration and production industry working in the Utica and Marcellus Shale regions. The company services all aspects of the exploration, midstream and downstream gas markets providing traditional non-hazardous and Department of Transportation hazardous transportation services, heavy industrial vacuum capabilities, pad services and emergency response.

Jonathan Marks, previously the president of RET, will now be director of gas and hazardous waste services for WM’s Upstate New York, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia market.
