Waste Management Announces Ticker Change To WM

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 30, 2009-- Waste Management, Inc. today announced the change of its ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) from WMI to WM effective at the start of trading on Wednesday, August 5, 2009. The new symbol better represents the company’s current logo.
